As the “Metaverse” evolves, more and more people are becoming enthralled by a hyper-real alternate environment.

Video games like Minecraft, Roblox and Fortnite, which are all part of the Metaverse, are popular virtual social places where millions of people spend hours each day. 

Facebook and Microsoft have both announced new ways to collaborate online, indicating that virtual productivity platforms are expanding as well.

As a result, poor posture has become a widespread health problem among those who spend an extended amount of time in front of computers and other electronic devices.

Hybrid workplaces, video-based schooling, and online social communities are becoming commonplace. These are just a few of the digital spaces and activities that are becoming more prevalent in people's lives today.

Negative physical effects of Metaverse

True, technology has many wonderful benefits, but like with other things, it also has certain negatives. One of the downsides of technology is its physical impact on the body, which includes a condition known as "text neck." 

Long durations of sitting and reading on various gadgets cause tissue to become uncomfortable and inflamed, and can even force your spine out of alignment. This harmful posture is referred to as "forward head posture" by health professionals.

Many people's over usage of mobile phones and laptops may also contribute to poor posture. Hunching forward and looking down at the screen for a long period of time can put an unnecessary amount of pressure on the neck and upper spine. This can lead to musculoskeletal problems over time.

The normal American lifestyle has changed as a result of recent technological development. While technology brings a lot of advantages, it also has some risks.
